Let’s support students whose primary language is not English with the ESL program !

Planete Montessori International School welcomes students from all over the country and the world.

With English as our primary language of communication and instruction, it is very important to us that our students whose primary language is not English, and especially our elementary school children, are well prepared. We are committed to providing a high level of communication, teaching and learning in English.

As part of our enrollment process, our English guides carry out an assessment that covers several aspects (comprehension, reading and writing) and enables learners to demonstrate their abilities and knowledge. For children who need it, our school offers :

  • A 6-week intensive ESL program at the beginning of the year to help them learn and develop English language skills.
  • Individual support throughout the school year, in small groups or one-to-one, during school hours.

Children will be able to develop the six basic English language skills of reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and vocabulary with our fantastic ESL program’s teachers:

Ms Farah, Ms Janine & Ms Darlene ! (Extra support classes in our three languages are also offered as part of our after school activities program)

” I am a graduate of Early Childhood Education at Cebu Normal University in the Philippines. I am 26 years old, and have been in the field of education since 2016, working as a Student-teaching mentor and ILS adviser for over six years. I also diligently worked as an English and ESL teacher for learners and non-native speakers. I currently have a total of 36 units in my ongoing pursuit of my Masters degree in Education.

I have an ardent love for children, as I believe that there is a certain magic that comes with shaping and developing young minds. I maintain a firm belief in the capacity of each child to blossom and flourish in their own unique way, and I wish to aid them in realizing their full potentials. ”
